Pilsudski
M/S Piłsudski (later renamed ORP Piłsudski) was a large (14,287 BRT) ocean liner of the Polish merchant marine, named for Józef Piłsudski, Marshal of Poland. Launched in 1935, it sank November 26, 1939, during its first wartime voyage, from unknown cause. It was a sister ship to MS Batory. Its first and only commanding officer was Cmd. Mamert Stankiewicz.
